London - Manchester City still leads the standings with 12 points from Arsenal's advantage. "We were too far off the pace today," I quoted Wenger of Arsenal's official website. "My focus is to cut the distance before Christmas and hopefully we can do."
"Then in the second half of the season we played a home game, so if we were able to overcome them we have a chance to come back (in the competition winner). But for now, we're too far away."
"I do not know how realistic it is, but what I know is that we must give all we have to make it realistic," said Wenger.
