Spurs Keep up with Arsenal & Liverpool

London - Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp wants to bring his squad appeared in the Champions League again. He pointed to Arsenal and Liverpool as a competitor for the troops.

Last season, the Spurs play in the Champions League for the first time in its history as a reward for the 2009-10 season to finish fourth. There, the Lilywhites successfully cruised to the quarterfinals before losing to Real Madrid.

But the achievements of the Spurs in the Premier League 2010-11 sag slightly so that only finished fifth and failed to enter the Champions League again. This season, Redknapp wants Spurs back into the top four.

"I want to return to the Champions League, but it seems it's a difficult thing because the three top spots may have 'ordered'," said Redknapp, told Sky Sports.

Three top spot Redknapp is clearly referring to the big three last season, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. Therefore, Redknapp was aiming for fourth position and pointed to Arsenal and Liverpool as a competitor.

"I can see the competition among ourselves, Arsenal and Liverpool," said Redknapp continued.

To realize his ambition, Redknapp admits that they have to strengthen its forces. One or two additional players for the team seem to be well north London.

"We have to buy one or two more players if we want to be a challenger," lid Redknapp.
