Taufik Hidayat knocked out by Tragic

Taufik Hidayat knocked out tragically in the second half of the world badminton championships in Singapore the player's hand on Wednesday (Thursday morning GMT).

Taufik is seeded fourth player eliminated by Singapore, Derek Wong Zi Liang, in two games, 17-21, 14-21. Taufik gave up in 30 minutes.

In the first round, Taufik beat Peru, Rodrigo Pacheco Carrillo, 21-10, 21-14. Taufik is a world champion in 2005. In the last world championships, Taufik is still able to qualify for the final.
