Syria disqualified from the Pre-World Cup 2014

Zurich - Syria lost his place in the Pre-World Cup 2014. Because the use of unauthorized players, their positions were given to Tajikistan.

hird round of qualifying for the Pre-World Cup Asian zone 2014. In the third round, they were joined in Group C with Japan, Uzbekistan, and North Korea.

However, being caught using illegal players, the Red Eagles was disqualified by FIFA. They were off playing in the third round.

Illegal player in question is George Mourad. 28-year-old attacker could actually strengthen Syria because it has been defended in the Swedish national team U-21 European Championship in 2003. In 2005, Mourad also played for the senior national team Sweden in a friendly match.

However, Syria remains down in the second round match of World Cup 2014 Pre-cons Tajikistan. In fact, Mourad scored one goal in the first leg.
