Barcelona - Carles Puyol return should enter the treatment room due to injury he got this mid- pean . He is also likely to be absent when Barcelona face Malaga .Puyol got injured it while leading his colleagues in the first match of the Copa del Rey quarterfinals yesterday . 35 -year-old defender only played for 12 minutes before being pulled out .
Puyol is known to have problems later on because his feet hurt after a tackle opponents . Lucky the injury was severe despite Puyol suffered swelling and bruising on his legs .
Naturally alarmed Barca then had to pull more Puyol given his age and injury prone dusk . This season Puyol has appeared four times at having to go back and forth a doctor due to his knee injury .
" Carles Puyol injury in the last game last night when he met Levante because of pain in his legs , where the team will examine the doctor this morning , before confirming that the bruises and wounds would be sidelined Sunday against Malaga , " Barca said in a statement .
If this is true then Puyol should be absent when Barca host Malaga at Camp Nou this weekend.
