Maranello - Kimi Raikkonen will be the first opportunity to test a Ferrari car for the 2014 season . The Iceman will make a comeback with Ferrari in the middle of next week , when the test held at Jerez .The first pre-season test of 2014 will be held at the Jerez circuit next week . Ferrari has been confirmed to appear in the session , which also will be used as the moment to launch their new car .
Being a ' newcomer ' in team , Kimi will first acquired the allocation to test the new car . Ex- Lotus and McLaren driver will be able to join the Ferrari new opportunity on Tuesday and Wednesday ( 28-29/1/2014 ) next week , while Fernando Alonso acquired the allocation Thursday and Friday ( 30-31/1/2014 ) .
" Under the current program , Kimi will go down on the first two days , then Fernando on Thursday and Friday , " said a Ferrari spokesman as reported by Crash .
This is the second time reinforces Ferrari 's Kimi , after the first in the period 2007 to 2009 . Had to pull out of the race pole and appeared in the WRC , the Finnish driver strengthening Lotus in the 2012 season and 2013.
